About this deal

This book, I was told by numerous people was different because it was darker, not as marshmallowy (that was my adjective, not theirs) as his other books, so I read it. I very much enjoyed the book and the movie, but I think what I love best about the book was Jo and how that whole character was. Now, Hillwalking London provides ten routes, all around Greater London, of striking high-level walking.

I was in the process of writing a Safe Haven book when this small cast of characters came into my head. There were many instances where my heart was racing, and I couldn't find the strength to put the book down.

I waited for the mass paperback (cheaper) edition but it is almost a year now since this book came out. I have never read a Nicholas Sparks book before, and this one always had me wondering and wanting to read it.

One example of this would be how inexpensive it was for John Paulson when he purchased insurance on mortgages that were so heavily demanded. Though his knowledge of investing could surely fill a library-size collection of books, the relatively slim (in length) Safe Haven is Spitznagel’s effort to better understand how he and his Universa colleagues invest by explaining the philosophy to those who can’t.It’s the equivalent of reading Phil Knight’s endlessly excellent Shoe Dog on the assumption that doing so will make you a capable entrepreneur a la the Nike co-founder. In 2009, the team he coached at New Bern High School set a World Junior Indoor Record in the 4×400 meters, as well as US High School National Records in the 800 Medley and 1600 Medley.
