About this deal

In Skylanders Academy's canon, the Skylanders were founded entirely by Master Eon, who opened the Skylanders Academy after the terrible events of the Great War and the growing threats of powerful villains. In this continuity, the first few Skylanders are characters from several different groups of the game's story, including Ka-Boom, Snap Shot, Jet-Vac and Pop Fizz; even after decades they continue to protect the realm through heroic deeds and important jobs as professors or prison wardens. Over the years, many cadets have taken their courses, and those who are prepared enough to suceed in the Skylander Games are honored with their position on the Skylanders team, bound forever to the Book of Skylanders.

He is also the final Skylander to be included in Ring of Heroes before the game's closure was announced. The modern-day Core Skylanders were previously led by the veteran Portal Master, Master Eon, until The Darkness returned one day. Seeing the incoming threat, Eon called the Skylanders, including Spyro the Dragon, to prepare for battle as the evil Portal Master, Kaos, returned from his exile to once again attempt to destroy the Core of Light and rule Skylands as its emperor. By Eon's command, the Skylanders fought valiantly against Kaos's dark forces, but as they were winning the struggle, Kaos released his Hydra, who successfully destroyed the Core of Light in a devastating blast. The Undead Element in Battlecast revolves around draining enemy health, xp and power, with abilities pertaining to allies being powerful but at great costs or risks. Swarm is voiced by Danny Jacobs, best known for voicing Victor Zsasz in Batman: Arkham Asylum and being the second voice of King Julien XIII in the Madagascar series. Possibly as a pun, Team Spyro in Skylanders Academy is known as the core Skylander team, both for being the first to be called to missions and for being composed entirely of Core Skylanders. Bouncer is voiced by Bumper Robinson, who also voices Bumblebee and Blitzwing in Transformers Animated, Rook Blonko and Bloxx in Ben 10: Omniverse and Falcon in "Avengers Assemble". As one of the nine thousand members of an insect royal family all crammed together in a hive, it was difficult for Swarm to stand out. All that changed when, without any explanation, the young prince began to grow. And grow. And grow. Although it was forbidden for any member of the royal family to ever leave the hive, they were forced to make an exception for Swarm when his head starting growing through the roof.

The Imaginators are created by the imagination of Portal Masters, using elementally aligned Creation Crystals. After being born from a constellation representing a Battle Class, their appearances and abilities can be changed in numerous ways. Their powers are mainly determined by their class, with only a small selection of elemental abilities. Imaginators are exceptionally powerful against Doomlanders, and every Sensei helps them to grow even stronger. Undead creatures are collectively referred to as "ghouls" in most media, though the namesake species exists as seen with Ghost Roaster and Chopscotch. Tree Rex was planned for the second season of Skylanders Academy, but he was cut for budget reasons. His focus episode would've been similar to I Dream of Ninjini, as the Giant would help Stealth Elf find her parents. [7] [8] Throughout history, there have been many epic battles, though none more bizarre than the legendary brawl between the headless giant and the infamous flying eyeball. Stump Smash is also voiced by Richardson. Coincidentally, both Skylanders are trees of the Life element. It's not everyday a headless giant declares war on a flying eyeball, but that's exactly how Eye-Brawl came to exist. What started as an evenly matched staring contest between them escalated into a full scale conflict that lasted over a hundred years. Eventually, the unusual enemies became bored of fighting and declared the war a draw. That would've been the end of it, had they not realized that combining their strength would make them almost unstoppable. The eyeball popped himself into the space where the giant's head should have been, and Eye-Brawl was born. Unlike most flying Skylanders, Swarm (and Gill Grunt) flies in a standing position rather than in a quadruped stance. However, Swarm can slightly turn during the process of flight. It was said that the Giants were the original Skylanders who banded together to fight an evil empire. Ten thousand years ago, the Giants battled against the tyrannical Arkeyans for the freedom of Skylands. In a final battle against the Arkeyans, the Giants were shot to Earth as a form of sacrifice, where they’ve been buried underground ever since. As the years passed, these enormous Skylanders were soon considered as a myth. Tree Rex is a natural protector who is as wise as he is majestic, unwavering in his mission to protect Skylands from evil magic. [3] He has also dedicated his life to maintain the natural balance of all things. [4] Biography The original Skylanders were the Giants, who united their powers to defeat the Arkeyan King ten thousand years ago. The Giants banded together and fought for the freedom of Skylands against the Arkeyans, who ruled over Skylands thousands of years ago with an iron fist. In a final battle against the Arkeyans, the Giants were banished to Earth by the Iron Fist of Arkus, where they’ve been buried underground until recent days. As the years passed, the Giants were considered as a myth.

Undead-based Skylanders also stand on a pedestal that resembles a white skull when they're in their toy form. The white skull on the pedestal is known to glow in the dark on most figures. SuperChargers, on the other hand, stand on a pedestal of bones that do not glow in the dark. There is a glitch where if Swarm enters a cutscene or is otherwise interrupted whilst flying, he will land although still be showing the animation of his wings buzzing. When first revealed at E3 2012, Bouncer's original biography states that he took too many hits to the head with a Roboto-Ball and decided to retire from the game, with the sport eventually fading away.In the series' marketing, Skylanders that do not belong to any specific team are called Core Skylanders. [1] Both Fright Rider and Eye-Brawl are Skylanders composed of two creatures in a symbiotic relationship with one another (Eye-Brawl with the flying eyeball and the headless giant, and Fright Rider by Rider and his skeletal ostrich, Fright). He, Bouncer, Swarm and Jet-Vac are the only Skylanders from Giants who had different voiceovers of their catchphrases during development and on their Meet the Skylanders videos.
