About this deal

On September 2, 2019, I released a blog titled, “BEES-Workmanship Example,” which discusses how I choose which words to cut during writing and editing this new book. General Howe and Colonel Richardson pay Jamie a visit, trying to recruit him, as British army approaches the city. Jamie refuses. The printshop and home of Jamie's adopted son Fergus burns down. Fergus's son Henri-Christian dies trying to escape the flames. So I thought. And almost at once, the word “octothorpe” sprang to mind. I’ve always liked the word, and it certainly was appropriate (you may or may not recognize it in its Very Artistic form here—but it’s the lowly hashtag, or pound sign (#)), as it not only has eight points (and eight “fields” of empty space surrounding it; one explanation of its origin is that it was a symbol on old English land documents for a farm surrounded by eight fields), but is a printing character—and the content of the book does indeed have a certain amount about the printer’s trade in colonial America during the Revolution. Brianna, Jemmy and Mandy arrive at Craigh na Dun. Short time later, Roger meets them outside of Lallybroch.

One thing I found irritating was in the last book when Claire thought Jamie was dead she was seriously thinking about killing herself because she couldn't live without him… Yet in this one when Claire was at death's door, Jamie said he wouldn't kill himself if she died because he had other things to live for. So yea, another case of a heroine not being able to live without her man and having nothing without him, whilst the hero can live without his woman and has plenty going for him outside of her. Ugh, the double standards and sexism were killing me. In the 20th century, Jamie and Claire's grandson Jeremiah is kidnapped. Their son-in-law Roger meets Jamie's father and his own when time traveling to find Jeremiah. After the boy is recovered, his family joins the Frasers in the 18th century. ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY’s electronic edition (ew.com) revealed the official cover for MOBY in April, 2013. Here’s the link to their piece, which has a few questions and answers (such as they are [cough]). I know that the next book is the last one..or D.G. says it is at least... and I know it will be another 5+ years before it's out but honestly ***I Want It Now***. For every story arc that was cleared up, a new one was begun until the last and final paragraph when yet another exciting and unexpected incident occurs at Frazer's Ridge and my mind went crazy with "What??" I absolutely can't fill anyone in on what goes on, suspense is the name here, but it's a true thriller. Ian Murray mourns Jenny and Jamie, as he believes they died at sea on their way to America. He also becomes engaged to Rachel Hunter.Roger, Bree, Jem and Mandy...what a tale! Some things literally kept me on the edge of my seat! It was interesting what Roger got to experience but the decisions that Bree had to make...OMG! Marsali Fraser - Laoghaire's daughter, Jamie's stepdaughter and daughter-in-law, and Claire's daughter-in-law. First appears in Voyager. Married to Fergus and mother to Germain, Joan, Félicité, and Henri-Christian.

Tom Christie - A former inmate of Ardsmuir Prison. Malva's and Allan's father. In love with Claire. Arrives at the Ridge at the end of Fiery Cross. Ian and Rachel ~sigh~ I loved everything about them. It was great how Ian stepped up to the plate. He has become such a wonderful man and I was so happy with what happened to them! Please note that the description below of GO TELL THE BEES THAT I AM GONE (Book 9) may contain SPOILERS for TV viewers who have not read my books, and for readers who have not read all of the first eight novels already published in my Outlander series! Brianna and the children hide in America. With help from Joe Abernathy, Brianna makes preparations to travel through the stones to find Roger. William was a brat and a self-pitying, whiny manslut. He had a life filled with nothing but happiness and comfort, and he had loving parents/grandparents. Lord John loved him like his own and gave him so much yet William still managed to act hard done by and tortured — he'd never experienced any true hardships, anytime he did go through something 'difficult' it was only because he bought it on himself. So his whole 'ooh-I'm-so-tortured-and-have-been-through-so-much-pain' just made me roll my eyes. If I could go into any book and viciously kill a character, it would definitely be him.Currently, there are eight main published works in Diana Gabaldon’s Outlander series with more on the way. They are as follows: Outlander, Dragonfly in Amber, Voyager, Drums of Autumn, The Fiery Cross, A Breath of Snow and Ashes, An Echo in the Bone, and Written in My Own Heart’s Blood. A ninth book has already been announced; it is titled Go Tell the Bees That I Am

William...My heart is breaking for him but...there have been some teeny, tiny steps taken. The part with Jane was heart breaking! I want something good to happen to him and John and Hal but I think there's still quite a journey to go for them. Wow! Another fun filled adventure with all the characters we've come to know and love. I swear when I'm reading it, it's almost as if I'm one of their relatives, helping do the laundry or taking care of one of them but definitely NOT helping Claire with any of her surgeries! Lord John Grey: Lieutenant Colonel in the British Royal Army, Jamie's longtime friend, William's stepfather and Claire's erstwhile husband.

William Ransom: Ninth Earl of Ellesmere, Captain in the British Royal Army, and Jamie's illegitimate son. And as much as I love Jamie and Claire and could read about just them, the story is deepened by the other main characters stories and it wouldn't be the same without them. Well, I willna deny ye taught me my business, Sassenach,” he murmured. “And ye made a good job of it.”
