All Volcas include a MIDI in port to allow you to control it with another synth, drum machine, sequencer or MIDI controller. The Volca Mix handles the power requirements for one to three Volcas which eliminates the need for batteries and additional power supplies. The necessary cables are included. Personally, we’d have loved the inclusion of a MIDI thru hub, allowing several Volcas to be chained from a single MIDI or USB input. This would have driven the price up, but many would be happy to pay more for a slightly more pro-spec’d version which does more to integrate the Volcas into a wider setup.

There’s a master volume with LED VU meter for adjusting the output level, as well as a headphone output that can be used simultaneously with the line output, providing a reliable monitoring environment on stage. doch mir persönlich fiept das teil einfach zu sehr. ich vermute, dass es am display und einer schlechten abschirmung dessen liegt. das verpestet zu sehr meinen gesamt sound. und nur als stromverteiler ist es dann doch zu teuer und nimmt zu viel platz dort ein, wo das gear steht, weil es nicht dort hinpasst, wo der strom liegt.

The channel volumes use vertical faders that allow precise control. The gain can be boosted to adjust the mix balance, and mute buttons are also provided. Each channel is also equipped with a LO/HI CUT filter that lets you control the low and high frequency ranges with a single knob.
